busy makin' stuff
like blankets, hair clips, onesies, bibs, aprons and babies. Yes, you read right. Babies. No, I am not pregnant. But soon I will be! Here's hoping. For a baby...
It has indeed been six months since that awful, fateful day and we are now good to go. I've done lots of research this time around, to help ensure a good and healthy conception (and pregnancy). Let's hope it pays off, because I am so very ready for my baby.
Last week a friend of mine stated the obvious: "It's kinda hard to watch other people get pregnant and have babies when you're not." Uh, yeah, it kinda is. I have another friend, or two (or fifty), that are due either on or around my supposed due date, May 11th. That's less than a month away, people. If I were still pregnant I would be in that "it could happen any day now" stage. Crazy. But right now we're in the "wishin' and a hopin', thinkin' and a prayin'" stage. And then, then it's the "holding, and kissing, and squeezing, and loving" stage. Hopefully.
So yeah, we've been busy. *B

Trust me. I know how all of that feels, except I didn't have a little one to come home to and the doctor told me that the pregnancy was a miracle in itself, hence the adoption process we are currently in. The waiting is the hardest part but it all ends up worth it in the end and we have to KNOW there will be an end! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear any forthcoming news! I'm with Aranne...hang in there. Good things happen to good people...and you, my friend--are one of the best people.
ReplyDeleteI love that you admit that you've been "busy". ;) I wish you the best of luck as you try for the next one! If the next one is as cute as the current one, I'd be trying too! I'm sure it will happen any day now. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I'm glad you're keeping busy! :) Best of luck, and looking forward to many baby posts! You know that I do commission illustrations for babies rooms right??? ;)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited that your time has come! You have been so patient and such a strength and example to us all! I cannot wait to see what the two of you come up with because you seem to have some pretty dang cute little creations. Good luck, keep us posted, and have fun ;) Lots of love!
ReplyDeleteI hope and pray that it will soon be that day...until then...stand strong, it won't be that long...hold fast, the hardships will past...be patient and wait, He's never late.
ReplyDeleteI just read your fateful day post - that's definitely a hard thing to go through :( There was a time when they thought I had an ectopic pregnancy in my first few weeks too, because I also had some bleeding and pain on my left side, and my hormonoe levels were lowish. But turned out they went up normally, and now we know the bleeding was related to preterm labour risks I guess I had from the start ;-)
ReplyDeleteBut anyway!! I hope this time everything goes smoothly and that you have a nice little one in 9-ish months!! :D
I'm excited for you Beth. You are so cute. Thanks for coming for dinner. Kiersch has fun with Will. Love your hair pins, and yes, I will need to order a few.
