the house

We still don't know if we'll get the chance to actually live in it, but for now we're still building... since the future isn't looking too promising and we don't know if we'll have the pleasure of calling it "our house" for much longer, we (aka. I) now refer to it simply as "the house." Yesterday we headed out to check on the progress of the house, and I must say, it's looking good!

I love the floorplan (I'm really picky when it comes to floorplans). I love the location. I love the lot. I love the cabinets, carpet, tile, and even the linoleum...

Yes, we're still trying to figure out a way to make "the house" our house for good. Wish us luck! But really, we're asking for a miracle. We'll just have to see what happens! *B

  1. It looks like it'll be really cool- and getting to pick your own textiles is AWESOME. But buying a house is so stressful, and I think you're actually dealing with it quite well, very level headed writing about it. Good luck with the house and give those babies of yours a great big hug any time you get upset about it!

  2. I'm a big fan of the floor plan. I love houses where you have a nice study/sitting room off to the side that can be kept pretty for guests... then just do a whole lotta livin' everywhere else.

Hope your house comes true :)

  3. the house looks great. hope everything works out for you two.

  4. The house is beautiful. I hope that one day you can call it YOUR house! Happy October!

  5. Oh my goodness! That is the same neighborhood we bought our house at 4 years ago! It was a Beazer home. We backed out when we decided to go to law school though. I cant believe it is the same neighborhood. Crazy!

You're currently in the process of making my day. So thanks for that! *B
