splurge, etc.

I bought this (the bumper). On sale. Just in case baby is a girl. It kinda matches Will's bedding, which is good since the kids will be sharing a room in a few months. If baby is a boy, then I'll probably have to sell it... but, it's so cute! Especially with a red gingham crib sheet and a white bedskirt bedecked in red ric-rac! [fingers crossed] Also, here are the latest belly shots!

I'm feeling huge and extremely uncomfortable. In these shots the baby must be on my spine, because I am bigger some days than others... but man alive, are my hips killing me! Even worse is my pelvic floor, which is weird since I'm carrying higher than I did with Will (who gave me grief in my tail bone). So any time I stand, sit, walk, roll over, or move my legs in any way, BAM! I feel like I should be straddling a massive ice pack, or something. Here's to two more whopping months of growth and development and worthwhile discomfort! *B

  4. Oh! You look so cute!! Except I wanna a see a Beth smile! =) I remember all too well the 3rd trimester pain. It's killer. The good news is that the next two months are going to fly by and it will all be a thing of the past!! Good luck!

  8. I love the baby bedding it's so dang cute. And you look darling pregnant, I love your short hair, you never blogged about that! Keep posting! I remember feeling the same sensations in my nether regions with Krew, NOT fun. I carried him really low. Everywhere I went people said, it's a boy I can tell because your tummy is really low. WEIRD.

  10. I get so excited when I see a new post from you!

And did you chop your hair off?!?! What's with using the hat to hide it?

  11. Yes people, I got my hair chopped off (it's a story). And I hadn't showered for three days, hence the hat... I also got new glasses, for those of you with sharp eyes (also a story). Thanks for the bedding/belly love! *B

  14. You're such a sweetie B. I'm sorry that you've been so uncomfortable, but as ever you're so compassionate to your little fetus when you say it's worthwhile!

And obviously your discomfort (using the term loosely, I suppose!) hasn't affected your good taste...

    THANK GOODNESS :)

  23. btw, I was gonna suggest that you buy or borrow an exercise ball. Mine is 55 cm (we're approx. same height, so you'd use the same size) and sitting on it does wonders for allowing your pelvic floor to relax and give it a break. You can use it at the table, at the computer, whenever you're sitting. And they're great during labor - so I've read; I didn't buy mine until after Grant was born. I meant to buy one for his labor but never got around to it and in retrospect I am totally kicking myself for not being more on top of things! I spent $40 on mine (price is why I put off getting one), but it is seriously worth every penny.

  24. besides, there are a ton of exercises you can do with them. I'm not sure if you'd find prenatal/postnatal exercises using the ball in books or online, though. I only know them because of the physical thearpy I've had - gotta love horseback riding accidents! :D
