Do you want to talk about messes...let me tell you a little story. I am a 27 year old mother of 4 little kids...and the catch is, that they are all under the age of 5. There are two babies who are less than a year apart, and we live on a farm. The wonderful thing about living on a farm, is that there is plenty of dirt, grease and grime to get into all of the time. The bad thing about living on a farm, is that your husband is a farmer, and that usually means working from sun up till sun down, which means mommy is in charge almost 24/7. There is no such thing as taking a day off or having a weekend, so I am in charge of these wild rascals pretty much all of the time. Luckily (and I say this lovingly), I only have one little boy... even though the little girls can come pretty close when it comes to gettin' dirty. I am a total and complete stay at home mom. In fact, we only leave to go to town about once every two weeks for groceries etc, so I am here cooking, cleaning and working (scrapbooking stuff) constantly. I could share specific story after story, but really, I think my post is getting pretty long (hope I'm not boring you!). At the end of some days, I am one "dirty girl" (hee hee)...and an apron would come in pretty handy for this momma!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34827548.post-77408863701002842982007-05-04T14:42:00.000-07:002007-05-04T14:42:00.000-07:00By the way---my designated mess would be making an...By the way---my designated mess would be making any kind of goodie with Gracie in the kitchen...especially brownies or cookies with Gracie. I think it would come in EVER so handy for those times when I unload the girls and they immediately get their feet all muddy and then I carry them up the stairs only to discover that I have muddy tracks ALL over my shirt and pants! NICE! I can't cook without getting flour and eggs and sugar (etc.) all over me. I'm queen of wiping my hands on my clothes. I could use an apron for those times when I'm cuddling with Anika and she turns her head and wipes her nose all over mt chest or shoulder! When I craft I inevitably get paint or glue or marker on my favorite shirt (why was I wearing it in the first place?!). An apron would be a lifesaver for me when I have my next baby. I remember all too well the spit up and the drool and, my personal favorite, the blow out diapers that don't get noticed until after you pick the baby up and realize it's up their back and now all over YOUR shirt. Cleaning can get messy. AND I've heard that aprons make great lingerie! Haha! I had to say that for the shock value.

You are so cute with all your contests!! Ooo especially when I have to empty our vacuum (it's bagless)and all the dust comes out from the trash! Ewww! That's when I need an apron to feel clean! But I can also see Abby having an absolute ball with one of these when she gets a little older. And cleaning....I love bleach, and I can't use that with just anything on. (Although, I don't think I'd want to use it with this oh-so-lovely apron on either...that's for sure!) and then the dirt and dust that gets on me if I'm outside in the garden or wherever. Then there's cooking, of course. It's much more fun to cook wearing an apron because I don't have to worry about what I get on my clothes!Lesliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02674284847144040145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34827548.post-53321359227239030172007-05-01T07:42:00.000-07:002007-05-01T07:42:00.000-07:00Beth you are too funny! Bryce would love it. He needs something like that to put crayons in, or his trucks or trains. He loves to make a mess whether it be with his toys, while eating or helping me cook. An apron would be a perfect to help him stay clean, while also allowing him to put his things in his pockets. You must teach me... It is so much fun to see how aprons can be made into such a boy accessory..what a better way than an apron to carry all your trucks, rocks, swords and balls! I love to wear my apron while I am making and eating dinner because it protects my clothes from all my spills and then is comfy after I am done eating and covers up my way too full tummy...it is great!Laceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06398842598830091521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34827548.post-5413509506893449052007-04-27T21:05:00.000-07:002007-04-27T21:05:00.000-07:00Too stinkin' cute!
